UofT Faculty of Information Alum Named New Chief Law Librarian

Congratulations to my former fellow classmate, John Papadopoulos (LLB ’93, MISt ’98) who has been recently appointed Chief Law Librarian at Bora Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto.

When John Papadopoulos graduated from U of T law school in 1993, he knew exactly what he wanted to do – and it wasn’t practicing law.

John Papadopoulos”I realized I loved research and the process of law,” says Papadopoulos, “and the more I learned about law practice, the more I realized I would be happier in a job involving research.”

The recently appointed new chief law librarian at the Bora Laskin Law Library fine-tuned his research skills with a master’s of information studies (MISt) at U of T, which he completed in ’97.
